When I remember Lorna, I think of the joy she had for her family. She came alive when spending time with her husband, son, daughter and grandchildren. Lorna was also graced with a daughter-in-law and son-in-law who enriched her life. Lorna was a proud woman and added a bit of sass and laughter to gatherings. Being from America, we just loved her British accent to flavor our conversations and her easy laugh. Michael’s Mum loved the flowers in her garden. I remember Michael’s wife Jane talking about visiting England and going to a local spot with Lorna and Peter for music and dancing. It was always a special time when the family could visit mum in England or Lorna would visit the United States. I’m so grateful I was able to see Lorna this past winter when she spent time around the holidays with her loved ones in Madison, Wisconsin. I will miss her.
